Devoted mother of Scott F. (Mary Jo), Michael J., Jonathan D., Christopher J. (Callie), and David A. Revord.
Cherished grandmother of 14.
Proud great-grandmother of 1.
Loving daughter of the late Byron Cogswell and Beatrice V. Bell (nee Fralick).
Dear sister of the late Byron, Dale, and Don Cogswell.
Doris was a baton twirling enthusiast while growing up. In her younger days, she loved to sing and ice skate. A loving mother and homemaker of 5 boys, she thoroughly enjoyed attending her sons sporting events. Doris was a world traveler who also loved to sing along with legends such at Nat King Cole and Tony Bennett. Planting flowers and taking walks were just a few of her favorite ways to be in touch with nature. Doris enjoyed spending time with her boys at the family cabin in the woods. She spent the last few months in Sarasota, Florida where she enjoyed the warm weather, walking, sitting by the pool, traveling and dining in a number of distinctive restaurants and enjoying a glass of wine with her loving son David.
Visitation Monday 8:30 a.m. until time of prayers 10:00 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL to St. Michael Church, Mass 10:45 a.m.
