Boyle, George, 94, born in County Mayo, Ireland. Proud member for 60+ years of Local 150 Operating Engineers. George came to America after WWII in search of new opportunities. He loved everything about the States and truly lived the American Dream. He found love, had a great job, owned a home, was blessed with 5 children and enjoyed a large circle of family and friends. His life was not without its challenges. He survived the passing of two wives he loved dearly, job layoffs, many medical illnesses, and the early passing of his precious daughter Maureen and outstanding grandson and namesake George Ryan.
In the face of all these challenges, he never backed down, always accepted the burdens and never complained. He was in every sense, a true gentleman. Our dad, the warrior, our hero.
Beloved husband of the late Jeanne Boyle (nee Conroy), and the late Helen C. Boyle (nee McGlinn).
Loving father of George T. (Peggy), the late Maureen (Steve) Murphy, Adrienne (Christopher) Farrell, Patrick (the late Lynn) Boyle, and Jeanne (Douglas) Blair.
Devoted stepfather of Thomas (Gloria), Kate, James (Peggy), William, and Robert (Peggy) Boyle.
Proud grandfather of 27 and great grandfather of 13.
Dear brother of the late John Edward, Kitty (late John) Farragher, the late Nancy (the late Michael) Foley, Patricia (the late Murty “Sonny”) Forde, Michael (Theresa), the late Anthony, Josie (the late Patrick) Timony, the late Agnes (the late James) Pendergast.
