Devoted husband of 45 years to Catherine (nee Duhig).
Loving father of Colleen (Sean) McWalter, Mary Kate Holland, and Patty Holland.
Proudest Big Papa to Conor and Maura McWalter.
Cherished son of the late William Bernard Holland Jr. and the late Margaret (nee Koller) Holland.
Dear brother to Donna (Dr. William) Hanigan, the late Thomas (Ann) Gibson, Mary Beth (John) Waller, Julie Holland, Marcee Peplinski, Sara (Angel) Rivera, and John (Trish) Holland.
Fond brother-in-law of Michael Duhig (Ret. CPD), Mary "Dolly" Brenz, Eileen (late Edward) Duhig-Lyons, Thomas (late Marilyn) Duhig, the late Martin (Karen) Duhig, Margaret "Peggy" (late Robert) Durkin, James (Kathryn) Duhig, John (Valerie) Duhig, Patrick (Marie) Duhig, the late Ann (Dr. Michael) Liston, and Daniel (Diane) Duhig.
Cherished uncle to more than 100 nieces and nephews.
Proud graduate of Leo High School class of 1973, member of Leo High School Alumni Association and the Leo Advisory Board, 1977 graduate of Marquette University, past Grand Knight of Fr. Perez Council 1444, and Insurance Broker for 30+ years at Arthur J. Gallagher. To say he will be missed by all who knew him is an understatement.
Visitation Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 10134 S. Longwood Drive, Chicago, IL.
Family and friends to gather on Friday at 9:45 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m.
Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
