Obituary for Michael P. Carroll
Michael P. Carroll of Chicago passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 7, 2020. He was 61 years of age.
Born on October 8, 1958 in Chicago, IL, Michael was the cherished son of Roger and Patricia (nee Ernst) Carroll.
Michael was the husband and love of Susan Carroll (nee Kane), County Cavan, Ireland. He was the devoted and loving father to Sean (Lynzie) Carroll.
Loving Papa to Henry and Walter.
Devoted stepfather to Lily and Andy.
Loving brother to Tim (Nina) Carroll, Colleen Carroll, Kelly (Mike) Sweeney, and Pattie McIntosh.
Cherished uncle to his many nieces and nephews who loved him and will greatly miss him.
Michael retired after 33 years of service for the City of Chicago, Streets and Sanitation Department, servicing the 19th Ward.
Services and interment private. A memorial service will be held at a date to be determined.
