Kuzel, Jane Ann (nee Thomalla)
Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Kuzel
Loving mother of Janice Blaschek, Barbeth (Gary) Peck, Glenn (Kristy) Kuzel, and the late Bobby Kuzel.
Cherished Nana of Corinne (Vernon) Holland, Karissa (Dan) Parthun, Jim (Carolyn) Blaschek, Barbeth (Nick) Graal, Robert (Samantha) Peck, Emily (Chris) Sieracki, Britney (Abe) Bowater, Glenn (Pam) Kuzel, Ashley (Mike) Smallwood and Terry (Ryan) Kuzel.
Proud Great-Nana of Ruth, Hannah, Jayson, Madelyn, Lucas, Hunter, Lincoln, Beckett, late Preston, Camden, and Olivia.
Jane grew up in St. Basil’s Parish and attended St. Basil’s school. She graduated from Lindbloom High School. After high school, she worked downtown at Continental Bank. She met Bob and waited for the love of her life to come home from the war. Bob and Jane were married on June 8, 1946. Jane worked at Miles Laboratory for many years. When Bob passed away in September of 2012, they had been married 66 years. They were living examples of what marriage is good through good times and bad, always being together. Jane was a very patient person. She always was thinking of other people and putting their needs above her own. She was very close to the Blessed Mother and prayed the rosary daily until dementia set in. She loved watching her 10 grandchildren grow up. Her 10 great-grandchildren brought her much joy as her health was failing. Bob and Jane loved to travel to warm climates during the winter and play golf. Golf was her passion after she retired along with oil painting, and playing cards.
