Mallon, Kathleen M. nee Gallagher
Age 69 of Homer Glen, passed away after a very full life on
February 23, 2010.
Kathleen is survived by her five loving children; Michael (Joyce) Mallon, Eileen (Tom) Lahey, Mary Mallon, Robert (Michelle Bell) Mallon & Maureen Mallon.
Her seven beloved grandchildren, Taylor Mallon, Jamie Mallon, Tim Lahey, Matt Lahey, Emily Mallon, Katie Lahey & John Mallon.
Her beloved sisters Peggy (Garry Getzen) Miller & Helen (Jerry Enenstein) Gallagher.
Preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life Peter Mallon and her parents.
Visitation Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Friday 9:15 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park to St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Mass 10:00 a.m.
Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
Kathleen lived much of her life in the Clearing neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. She retired from Holy Cross Hospital where she was a registered nurse. In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her loving children, grandchildren and close friends. She will be missed by so many who knew her as a kind, generous, loving and gentle mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
