Theodore "Ted" Mezyk, Navy Veteran of WWII. Beloved husband of the late Pearl, nee Nagel. Devoted father of Jody (Ken) Bixby, John (Sandy) Mezyk, Mark Mezyk, Tom (Pam) Mezyk, Nan (Mike) Vallone, Peg (Dave) Weimer, Jim (Lisa) Mezyk, Betsy (Tom) Elliott, Bonnie (Kurt) Stauffer, Ticker Manns and the late Thaddeus Mezyk Jr.; dearest Papa of 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; loving brother of the late Joseph Mezyk, Ann (the late Ed) Kosowski, Stell (the late Dick) Nagel and Jean (the late Chester) Kowalski; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Monday 9:15 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st St., Orland Park, to St. Anthony Church of Frankfort, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
