In the 20yrs I have known the carltons Mrs. Carlton has always had this fun loving spirit . its odd telling jokes in front of your friends parents but both mr and mrs Carlton had such a good sense of humour the would just laugh.. I will also remember her big heart she was always concerned about others everytime I would call the house or stop by she 1st thing she would say : how are my girls? And she always let me know she was keeping everyone in her prayers. . mrs carlton I know your with the man you love your probably dancing on clouds in your wings fit for an angel of beauty just like you.. I will miss movie nights with hot chocolate and pie with you jen and I at the house.. and the girls will miss going to see aunt meme and the kitty cats.. Im sure I said this before I don't think of you as my friends mom..your my friend too.. I love you and will never forget you.. Love Katie

Jennifer and Matt, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. The one thing I always remembered about your mother was her laughter. Even through adversity, she always managed to find a smile or a kind word that would make you feel better. I know I'll miss her and I know that she is now with the man she loved. May God be with you and your family at this time.

I remember when I first met Muriel. I think I was about 11 or 12 years old. I didn't like that she took my brothers attention away from me. I was being such a little snot as they sat in the boat at Whitewater Wisconsin. I did something stupid and kicked her in the chest, accidently. None the less, she forgave me, and since then, as she would say, she's been my big sister. She always enjoyed a laugh, and Matt, Jennifer, and I always put a smile on her face. I know she suffered these last few years from her various ailments, but if we could make her laugh, at least she could forget about it for few moments. She was always fun at family parties and was always sincere when she paid a compliment. We will all miss her dearly!

I Loved Muriel, she was my best friend and we shared so much! Muriel is loved by many and will be missed, but the legacy of her Love, Compassion and Understanding will live on through Matt, Jennifer and all her beloved nieces and nephews! I am blessed to have had her in my life. Her sense of humor was amazing - sometime we could say just one word and giggle like teenagers- Love you all - Godspeed Muriel

I will always remember my beautiful Aunty and Godmother. She was always there to help celebrate my successes in life. She was a wonderful person and very easy to talk to. I always loved hearing her laugh, she had the best sense of humor. I always remember going to my Grandma's old house to visit. I loved it not only because my Grandparents were there but because my Aunty and her family lived upstairs. I was not allowed to go upstairs until they were awake so I would sit at the kitchen table and wait to hear footsteps before running up the back stairs to their house. I always think of her when I hear The Monkees. She was always playing their records and dancing around when I was younger. I will always treasure the memory of when my Aunty Muriel, Uncle Jerry, Jennifer, and Matt came to my wedding. This was one of the best days of my life and I am so happy they were there to share this with me. I can remember watching my aunt and uncle slow dance at the reception and I know they are continuing this dance in Heaven. Jennifer and Matt, I am so sorry for your loss. I am sorry that I am not able to make it up to be there with you. I promise you both I will be there soon and we will celebrate the life of your mother together. I am here if either of you need anything. Please take comfort in knowing your mother was loved by many and you are in everyone's thoughts and prayers. I love and miss you both very much. Grandma, I am so sorry for your loss and what you are going through. I wish I could be there with you. I will be up there soon. I love and miss you very much. I will always love my Aunty Muriel and will miss her dearly. XOXO ~Lauren Hacker
